T.I.R. is Total Indicator Reading

Blade Thickness = Plate + side clearance + tolerances

Kerf = width of cut = plate width + tip side clearance + wobble  

 

We love to do custom work.  Get a free quote on a custom saw blade using standard Carbide grade teeth or our Cermet II Saw tips that last 3-5 times longer than Carbide.  Just send us your specifications and a drawing.  Following is a chart we use in  house for saw design.  You can fill it out or have one of our cutting tool engineers consult with you.  (We recommend using the engineer.)
