Downcut Tornado, Spiral Router Bits - (4 Flutes) Solid Carbide - Vortex.This award winning tool design combines a roughing and a finishing tool into one tool. It achieves never before attained feed rates up to an amazing 3500 inches per minute. Current practical maximum feed rates of 1000-1500 inches per minute are recommended based on routing 3/4 thick MDF or particleboard at 24,000 RPM. Not recommended to operate under 600 inches per minute. The flute geometry features a larger flute preceding the roughing edges which allows them to take a bigger bite. Following close behind are the finishing edges which produce a clean cut.
