Better Than a Rolex

Why I like my Tense wooden watch better than my Rolex by Tom Walz.

1.  I get more compliments on my Tense wooden watch. 

2.  The Tense wooden watch is very lightweight and just feels good against my skin.  

3.  The Tense wooden watch is very tough and I can wear it anywhere. 

4.  The Tense wooden watch keeps better time than the Rolex.

Years ago I bought a Rolex.  Last year it needed repair and annual servicing which was about $600.  The Rolex was my everyday watch and I needed another watch because it took six months to service the Rolex.

I found the Tense watches at my florist and liked them so I bought one.  I liked them so much I started giving Tense wooden watches away to important customers.  The customers liked them so much that we started selling Tense wooden watches. 

What people seem to really like is that they look really good.  They are unusual but in a good way.  I have gotten more compliments on my Tense wooden watch in a few months than I did in ten years wearing the Rolex.

The Tense Wooden Watch is very lightweight, especially considering how sturdy it is.  The wood feels really good against my skin.  The Rolex is a mechanical watch and a good one but the Tense keeps better time and I do not have to reset the Tense wooden watch to the correct time every month or so.  The Tense wooden watch is battery powered so it always tells the correct time even if I let it sit a few days unlike the self–winding Rolex. 

Finally, I tend to be a bit hard on watches.  If there is a mechanical problem in the plant I will go to work and forget to take off my watch.  The Tense wooden watch holds up beautifully.  If it ever does get broken it uses standard parts and I can have it repaired almost anywhere or I can simply buy a new one.
