Incra’s top of the line Miter 5000 provides repeatable miter cuts with 1/2 degree accuracy and no tear-out on the bottom of the part. The miter sled can be set up on either side of the saw blade and will cross-cut up to a 25" panel with perfect accuracy.

How does it work? The Miter 5000 ships with a two-part MDF panel that utilizes both miter channels in your table saw. Once set up, you make a single cut that separates the panel into two pieces, each with zero clearance at the blade. The part that does not hold the miter gauge is then locked into position at the blade and does not slide. The other part of the panel remains mobile and holds the miter gauge and fence, incorporating two embedded T-tracks to lock the fence firmly in place at any angle. You now have zero clearance on both sides of the blade and can miter cut even two sided melamine with no chipout.

What if I change saw blades? Replacement panels are available or you can make your own. If your saw kerf changes you simply detach the panel at the T-track (blade side), attach a new panel and re-cut.

INCRA Miter 5000 Features:

• Miter Gauge - The top of the line miter gauge features two laser cut steel protractors. The large protractor has positive stops at 5 degree increments. Once set, the smaller dual protractor has positive stops at both 1 degree and 1/2 degree increments.

• Miter Fence - The 36” miter fence extends to a full 64” for cutting larger parts and the included Flip Shop Stop makes repeatable accuracy a breeze. The fence locks firmly to the outward T-track on the sled for zero deflection when cutting.

• Miter Bars - The miter bars used to follow your table saw miter slots feature expandable low-friction discs for zero side play in miter slots from .074" to .076" wide.

• Hold Down Clamp - A hold down clamp is included and can be used with either one of the T-tracks to hold your work piece securely while cutting.
