Carbide Processors started
pretinning (or tinning) tungsten carbide in 1981 because
Weyerhaeuser wanted to build better saws.
Customers would order carbide and have it sent to us for
tinning. The carbide suppliers knew about making
carbide but knew almost nothing about using it.
We got really good at answering
questions so people kept asking us more questions and we
answered those as well. Over the last 25 years we
have gotten to know the industry. We know
how well different grades really work.
